Hey there fellow Rickmaniacs! Boy, has it been some while since TWAR has invaded your dashboards. As mentioned before, TWAR had to deal with real life issues that unfortunately needed more attention AND finally it has been completed. I do greatly apologize for this and want to thank everyone who had sent support (ehem Obsessedfool). TWAR will be getting back to being the same Rickmantastic self and with that…Let the Rickman-vasion BEGIN!

Get your tickets fast. Alan Rickman’s last performance in the hit play “Seminar” on Broadway is April 1. No foolin’.
The good news? Jeff Goldblum is taking over the role, producers said Tuesday. Goldblum starts an eight-week stint in the role on April 3.
In Theresa Rebeck’s play about the soul-torturing world of authors, four budding writers are taught about life by a crass, pugnacious novelist-turned-tutor.
Goldblum last appeared on Broadway in “The Pillowman” in 2005. He recently starred in two productions for London’s Old Vic: “Speed-the-Plow” in 2008 and “The Prisoner of Second Avenue” in 2010, both opposite Kevin Spacey. Now that’s an actor always worth watching on stage.

I watch Alan Rickman still try and learn, still try and get better. You should never be satisfied and never feel that you’re done. — Daniel Radcliffe

In response to all that Mayan misery and the January blues, Random Project are asking you to send them a postcard celebrating London in 2012. Your entry will be displayed alongside those from the likes of graphic designers Ed Fella and Stefan Sagmeister; artist Ralph Steadman (of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas fame); illustrator Alan Kitching and Professor Snape (aka Alan Rickman) to name but a few. To enter, email word@random-project.co.uk with a number between 1 and 100 and you’ll receive a random word relating to London, the Olympics or 2012 for inspiration. Participants of all ages and abilities are more than welcome. The postcards will be shown off on the Random Project 2012 virtual gallery from February 1 and a gallery exhibition will follow.

I am furious that ‘Harry Potter’ is practically ignored. Hello … Alan Rickman, Ralph Fiennes, not to mention the kids who have dominated the past 10 years. Who makes these decisions? — Cherri Brooks Timms
